Our Approach

ChatGPT Image Jan 18, 2026, 09_48_59 AM.png

We are an Education Service providing tailored and specialist tutoring for children and young people who are currently unable to access mainstream schooling.

Working closely with Local Authorities, Schools, and Care Teams, we provide flexible, high-quality tuition to vulnerable learners with a range of additional needs, including Medical Needs, those in care or those with EBSNA (Emotional School Based Non Attendance).

Our tutors are experienced professionals who have had training allowing us to match the right tutor to each learner’s needs and circumstances.

Safeguarding and wellbeing are central to our work. All tutors are fully vetted and trained to work safely and professionally with vulnerable children and young people.

Our aim is to provide stability, progress, and confidence through education, supporting each learner’s individual journey

Tutoring takes place face to face and 1:1 - and where appropriate can also include therapeutic support. There is no one-size-fits-all model here—because no two children are the same.

Why We Do It

Our work is driven by experience, compassion, and purpose.

Our Founder and Director has worked in education since 2012, across primary schools in London, and holds a Master’s degree in Education. Since 2021, they have worked extensively with children who are medically unwell and unable to access mainstream education, gaining first-hand insight into the barriers these children face.

We know that children affected by trauma or ill health often want to be in school — but sometimes simply can’t. Medical needs, anxiety, or past experiences can make traditional education inaccessible.

That is why relationships come first. Our approach is collaborative, ensuring tuition aligns with education plans, care plans, and reintegration goals where appropriate.

All staff complete mandatory Trauma-Informed training before working with children, ensuring a compassionate, relational approach at the heart of every session. In addition, all tutors receive mandatory training in:

  • Keeping Children Safe in Education

  • Safeguarding

  • Student mental wellbeing

  • Trauma Informed Practice

This ensures every child is supported safely, consistently, and with genuine care — helping them rebuild confidence, reconnect with learning, and move forward at their own pace.
